"Nice hotel if lacking a bit of character. Room was ok. It was facing the main road so a bit noisy - no chance of a lie in if you wanted one especially on the Monday. Very comfortable bed and very clean. A little on the cold side for my liking but was offered extra blankets if I wanted. The bathroom was really quite cold even with the heated rail on. "Corridors & hotel room tired e.g. torn wallpaper, scuffed table. Receptionist accused me of not paying for dinner the night before where I had to provide a credit card statement as proof of payment as apparently the till receipt wasn’t suffice & the Waiter didn’t provide a pdq receipt. Fantastic facilities & grounds & felt very festive!"

"Travelled with my 2 children aged 8 and 2. We had the King bed and the room was well presented, although carpet looked worn in and the bath needed a once over when we arrived. My son was invited to join a martial arts class when we checked in so he was pleased! We ordered food from the restaurant while he was in the class. "As soon as we stepped in to the property I was happy. The check in went very smoothly. Every member of staff we came across was friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but had everything we needed. I loved that we had bottled water, a choice of sparking or still. Also nice hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee.The beds were very comfy with nice pillows and they had very nice fluffy towels in the bathroom.I would definitely stay again"

"Perfect nights stay Bath and shower enough lighting in the room comfy bed and bedding full length mirror and magnifying mirror plenty of charging points hairdryer iron and board mini fridge safe . Best of all is the spa with plenty of diffent rooms to go in and pools including the outdoor pool with jacuzzi and waterfall bar open 24h brilliant overall "
