This place was perfect for us: Absolutely immaculate, cozy warm, incredible host, and had everything we needed for a restful weekend. This would have been a great place to come to when our kids were younger, to let them toddle about outdoors, with plenty of room to spread out indoors. "Located a few miles from our family cabin, I'm so thankful I found the Oar House for the weekends when a LOT of family is up at the cabin! It was a great place for my kids and I to stay. I had trouble with the keypad, but the owner was able to unlock the door remotely, and then I used the key for the front door the rest of the time. The beds were comfortable and that shower head was AMAZING! I will be checking for availability here in the future when we need an overflow place to stay when...

"Quiet location in a quaint little town. Enough parking for 4 vehicles and fifth extra spot. The patio is great! Beds were comfy! Plenty of hot water all around. Would visit again!"

"House was cozy and comfortable. Off-street parking and close to many sites: Penn State, Everett RR, and Horseshoe Curve. Also close to numerous local restaurants: John&George’s, Al’s Tavern and Stone Cellar. Would recommend all three. Overall, nice house and location. Would stay there again."

"This property is absolutely fantastic! Location is perfect: far enough away for quiet and privacy but just a few minutes drive into town. Our family of 5 spent Thanksgiving weekend here, and we could not have asked for more! Lol Hosts are wonderful with excellent communication; they go above and beyond to make sure guests have whatever they need....
