"This is a historic property, with so much to see. Many conveniences and eccentricities, like a croquet court, volleyball net, sitting areas and custom wrought iron gate by the railroad. A museum with the largest handwoven native American rug. An area for pollinators. An art gallery. Rooms are historic - not large, no extras, at least in the standard room. The Turquoise Room, the enclosed restaurant, is not inexpensive, but it is a value! Everything was excellent, and the ambiance is enhanced...

"Room was basic, but comfortable. Soft bedding. Updates to the hotel in the common spaces with the cleanest breakfast area I have seen for the standard breakfast fare. Room was a bit worn, with furniture and a door totally worn out at the bottom. Found two dead bugs in the room. Indoor pool looked very clean, though we did not use it. "
