"Rating is defo off. The place is clean, cheap and safe etc. The owner/manager is never, never, there. No-one is there actually, but son kids of the family. It's completely a soul-less place. Given that it's cheap, I normally wouldn't complain, but when the cleaning lady who effectively did everything in the house tried to charge me USD 45 for two bottles of water and 2 kg of laundry I just had enough ..."

"Free room upgrade was much appreciated. The breakfast buffet on the first morning was great with many food choices. There was no buffet on the second morning due to lacking of guests. Mosquitoes were in the room on the first night. The staff were very welcoming and friendly."

"Our group had a warm welcome from Madam Moon.We really had a very comfortable stay and felt really at home.Its just like home away from home.This homestay had most of what you expect while travelling.Its not 5 stars but its HOME.You can cycle quite easily into Hoi An ancient city and you can easily find suitable mini marts ,pharmacy and even a convenient morning market just round the corner.Good location indeed."

"I adored Windbell Villa, so much so that I am going back next year. The staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, they arranged trips and taxis for me. Really well located about 10 mins walk to the market. Wonderful to go back to after the slightly hectic life in Hoi an. Lovely pool area with papaya trees and other tropical trees. Amaaazing!!
