"Quite expensive considering the size of the room and breakfast not included. That said, bed and pillows super comfortable. We ate a late afternoon three course meal and breakfast the following day which were both excellent."

"No staff at property everything had to be carried out by phone including access to property Cold water in shower didn't work"

"Clean comfortable room , warm ( maybe a little too warm as couldn't adjust towel rail radiator in bathroom .) However comfortable room well equipped with microwave and fridge in room if required and excellent value "

"Arrived to find all lights out. Rang up and was informed the keys were under a rock outside. Room was clean but the mattress on the bed was cheap and worn out. It rates as the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. TV was on a low table instead of the wall resulting in a stiif neck to watch it. Nothing in local area to improve my opinion. I will not be staying again."

"The room it's self was ok to get your head down but that's if for me. Shared kitchen and bathroom was not the cleanest and the property and room were not the securest, made me feel uneasy leaving me stuff while I was at work."

"Bed was a little lumpy but didn't stop us sleeping. Place is a bit tired and seems to be a bit of a hotel / hallway house. A few characters having a ciggy outside but they didn't cause any noise or anything later when we got back from a night in Derby. At the end of the day it was really cheap and included breakfast. The host was a chap who was very polite and couldn't do enough for you."

"Booked a one night stay to extend another hotel stay close by so we could do the Churnet Valley rail trip. Had a comfortable stay, everything very clean & comfortable. Was a little disconcerted to find we were actually staying in the house with the owner, an unknown experience for us. Julie was very friendly & helpful. Really appreciated the cold bottles of water we were given and the brunch bar."

"The property amply met our expectations. It was spacious, beautifully furnished and provided a generously stocked kitchen and bathroom. We felt welcomed and extremely comfortable. The views of the countryside were relaxing. We were attending a wedding but there are lots of attractions and activities locally. We will return."

"For the cheap price the room was excellent. Clean. Communcation excellent. And for me it was right next door to the part of the hospital I wanted to be at. Would recommend to anyone."
