"We flew from Texas to Buckfastleigh for a vacation with family. We loved the house and the host, Shelley and Pete, made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. Each morning she provided a huge variety of delicious breakfast items. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were clean. The bathroom has a beautiful shower and bathtub with heated floors and a heated towel rack. Everything is provided that you could possibly need. We had tea, coffee, and snacks in...

"A classic pub, the building is old but it is a lovely place to stay, 2 minute walk from the starcross train station. (which also has the ferry to Exmouth) The room was clean, bright and comfortable and the owners are very accommodating. Would happily stay here again"

"Interesting place. Really need a group of friends there to take full advantage of everything on offer from renting the whole house and private dining to having a wild party in one of the great past spaces they have created. Everything very high quality and well designed. "
