"The hotel is historic and has lots of vintage charm especially in the common rooms. The gardens were beautiful and well manicured. Our room was nice, bed and pillows were comfy. The room did have a funky odor, like an old house smelll, but it eventually went away once we turned on the air conditioner. The place offered a continental breakfast which was basic with muffins, mandarin oranges, and coffee. Bagels, more fruit and juice would have been nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. "

"I stayed here with my husband and toddler while visiting friends who lived nearby. It was a very clean room and when we turned the fan on for white noise, no issues with falling asleep. I appreciated that they have housekeeping come in every day, that seems less common these days at mid-tier hotels. Free breakfast was a nice option, my kid loved the steel cut oats. Underground garage parking was quite tightly packed as others have reported. We found that there were some solid dining options very close by, though it was also an easy drive downtown. Would definitely stay here again."

"Regardless of being under construction, this property was very clean cozy with a very friendly stuff. The location is just what you need in Santa Barbara. It’s little confusing to find the entrance because the building is under construction. And Valley parking makes it easy if you drive your own vehicle to Santa Barbara."
