"Great stay at Masaya! Clean, good price, good location, nice and filling breakfast, and the room was fine. Would have liked drawers or a small wardrobe. Also, there were no windows in the room (small one in the bathroom). Noise not too bad - could hear our neighbours when using the shower. The live music and DJs were great, though regular music during dinner was too loud. We'd have liked more activities to get to know people, but not sure if we just missed these. "Although I had to have the room sprayed for mosquitos and leave the room while the poison took effect, I still was bitten by mosquitos. I hate mosquitos so I am glad I only stayed one night."

"The owner was nice and polite. However, rooms lacked views, windows were covered witha cloth, it was very noisy at night because of building noises (air conditioning, water tubes), and our toilet wouldnt work. Rooms were kind of clean, but not sure... The location is close to the beach and centre, but it is a hot corner for prostitution and not nice to walk, especially at night. We paid almost 30 euros for one night. It is overpriced. "

"We stayed 6 nights spread out over 3 different stayed and felt very much at home each time we were greeted anew. Santa Marta is a good spot to depart on further stays at the coast and adventure travels. In between we stored part of our luggage which made for good convenience when travelling onwards.
