"The holiday break was perfect for us as we were three separate households but one family. Luckily the weather was very good enabling walks from the accommodation and outside play on the lawn area. We made full use of the excellent on site farm shop and the swimming pool which was near by. Norwich is a very nice city to visit, and my wife and I called at Diss on our journey to the farm, again well worth a visit. This was a happy family time to celebrate our 50th wedding aniversary"

"We were a little disappointed as we weren’t overlooking river which we obviously misread. The beds were excellent and we enjoyed the quietness of the place. Our dog loved the garden. Nick the owner is brilliant and dealt with a shower problem promptly and was available to ask questions. Would definitely recommend"

"A short stay to explore the Norfolk coast. I loved the attention to detail and decor of the cottage. If you like historic buildings then this place is for you! The top floor room has an old beam across it and is a struggle to get into but the kids liked it so that was a win. The cottage is quite dark inside and just enough social space for two adults and two kids. The courtyard garden is lovely and a great sun trap. Thanks for having us. "

"The home was warm and inviting when we arrived and there was a lovely welcome package waiting for us, which was very much appreciated. The property was very comfortable, cosy and well catered for with lovely log fires. Also a very large garden. Angie has prepared carefully for guests in the current coronvirus conditions and changes the cushions and throws on each visit, which is great to know. Lovely place - thanks! Helen"

"We travelled up from Devon (myself & husband) and London (sons & partners), and after a long, challenging journey we were delighted to find a beautiful, clean and comfortable base for our stay. The location was perfect for meeting up with family for a meal at the Oaksmere hotel (5 min walk), for attending the wedding in Eye (2km away) and the reception in Upper Oakley (also 2km away). The comfortable lounge/ seating area was perfect for us all to watch the Coronation on the large TV screen, and...

"The Beehive is a quaint little getaway perfect for a small family looking for some peace and quiet. The property was clean and comfortable, with the added touches of fresh bread, milk, and marmalade. The gated property provides a great sense of security and privacy, and the adjacent garden is perfect for playtime. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. And if you have the chance to visit the nearby Aviation Heritage museum, do take the opportunity."

"This house was perfect for two families to stay in for the week. The garden is enormous so plenty of room for kids to run off their energy. The house itself was comfortable and clean. The location is relatively remote being accessed down single track lanes, which meant it was very peaceful, but still only 10 minutes from a shop. We were still generally within 30 minutes of the places we wanted to visit. The Indian takeaway in Poringland was excellent too!"

"We absolutely loved our two weeks staying at Debbie’s cottage right next to the Bailey Gate in Castle Acre. Everything was perfect, from the ease of pre-stay communication to the very smooth check-in/out process. We stayed 4 adults and 2 children (3 and 8) and found the cottage to be an excellent choice for a family with children. Castle Acre is a beautiful and very safe and child-friendly village, conveniently located for day trips to the beach, Sandringham Castle and everything else Norfolk...

"The house is pretty basic. But that's all we needed. Its very close to the center of Norwich so is perfect for that. There's a pub at the end of the street, and if you want a pint after a day of exploring that's a definite bonus. However... Friday Night the pub at the end of the street had a band on playing so loud you could hear it in the kitchen with all the doors closed. Facilities were good, with the exception of the lighting switches which were not very intuitively placed and rather...

A lovely lit patio patio area to enjoy a drink on warm summers night.

"My partner and myself stayed here for 2 nights. The pod it's self is tidy, clean, small kitchenette with microwave and toaster, also there is a breakfast hamper, the fridge is stocked with the basics. The pod opens out onto a beautifully kept Japanese garden with Koi pond. Ian and Caz are great hosts and are at the end of a text or call if there are any problems. There is also a hot tub available which just topped off this amazing little retreat. Myself and Darren will definately be coming back....
