"We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating. "The views were absolutely beautiful, such as peaceful spot in the middle of the countryside which is exactly what we wanted but also perfect for explore the jurassic coast, little coastal villages/towns and countryside. Also lovely to find somewhere and very thankful they were happy to accept our 2 little doggies (for a fee) which is not an easy thing to find . "The pictures were n the sight are deceiving,the property was damp and dirty and we could not stay in it,apparently it was cleaned two weeks prior to our stay,cleaning should have been done the day before,the owner was very uncooperative,and has not issued a refund ,indeed he has ignored my request"

"The lodge was lovely with views of the shoulders of Exmore. It was well fitted with good working facilities and the site was very nicely kept and only has around eight lodges was quiet. The hosts were very supportive when we asked for help. The site is about 30 minutes walk or five minutes drive from the seafront at Minehead."

"Cannot recommend enough superb in all aspects very quiet area away from busy lives. Very clean everything you need for a perfect stay plus extra personal touches from the host ie fresh flowers and home made cakes. Lots of walks nearby and loved seeing the sheep and chickens every morning when you wake up."

"We only had three days away but it was the best 72 jours in such a beautiful cottage in the most peaceful of places. The cottage was amazing and well stocked. So close to lots of different beaches and countryside to enjoy."

"Beautiful country views, and a wonderfully relaxing time sitting outdoors. Very easy access into Taunton to visit family. The cabin was very welcoming and extremely clean!"

"A very enjoyable few days. Did not walk far as Mum(94) was in a wheelchair, which necessitated driving anywhere. Lamps in bunkbed room need looking at and guttering need cleaning out. Lovely waterfalls with the heavy rain. Would certainly reccommend it as a base in the area."
