"Stayed bere earlier in the year and when I was working in the area again I didn't hesitate to book in to here again. The room was clean and looks like it has been refurbished recently (over the last couple of years) and was comfortable. The pub and restaurant is nice with a reasonable selection on the menu to please most people. The staff are great really friendly and helpful in both the pub and checking in side of the business. In the spring or summer this would be a great place to stay and chill out next to the river and weir with a glass or three of your favourite drink in the sunshine. "

"The staff were absolutely excellent with warmth and helpfulness throughout. The building is old and so the hotel isn’t modern but it is charming. Food was excellent and the bar pleasant and comfortable. The leisure facilities were lovely. Overall a very relaxing and peaceful stay. "
