"Excellent visit to the Viceroy. Thanks to our hotels.com status, our room was upgraded to a lake view, and we enjoyed 25% off at their restaurant. Menu looked great, but we just had time for drinks. Room was spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city and peek-a-boo of Lake Michigan. I made the mistake of leaving our "do not disturb" sign on the door when we left for the day, meaning our room didn't get serviced, but housekeeping made a trip up for us while we went out for the evening. Quite nice. It also had a nice gym and rooftop pool; although, it was closed for the season (March). We were also there celebrating our daughter's birthday, and the hotel left a nice note and plate of cookies to celebrate! Oh, and good location to shopping and nearby restaurants (Lou Malnati's, LuxBar, Tavern of Rush, Original Pancake House, Velvet Taco... all good!)"
