"Absolutely wonderful. Not a detail missed and many that I never would have thought of found. Probably the best equipped self-catering spot we’ve stayed at. Nice lounge with large flat screen TV, lovely dining table, big heavy drapes throughout, great collection of books to sift through (Including quite a few on Stonehenge). Very close (at least by car) to Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge, easy to find."

"Good communication in advance of arrival, though more clarity on parking may have helped. Unit next to ours had a very loud barking dog which woke us up on a Sunday at 7am unfortunately… and triggered our dog to bark. The walls are quite thin for noise to travel in/out. Aside from that, it was a really great studio with all one would need! It is on a working farm but whilst that means potential activity outside the door, it also means great green-space and farm animals to enjoy as well!!"

"Wonderful little cottage. Host was very helpful before and during our stay. Lots of good recommendations for the area. We made use of the hot tub as well as the fireplace. Enjoyed several sites very close by. Great place to launch to see lots of things in the area. Arrange to have the hot tub preheated so we could utilize it both nights. Very enjoyable stay, highly recommend."

"We were greeted by our host who had kindly allowed us to deposit our luggage ahead of moving into the cottage. The cottage itself is cosy and well appointed with an Aga stove in the kitchen that keeps the cottage warm. It has a small but well kept garden with table and chairs for outside dining if desired. "We had a lovely weekend staying in the Shepherd’s Retreat. It was very well equipped to a high standard and immaculately clean. The property is in a very peaceful spot and with excellent access to The New Forest, Salisbury, Bournemouth and the coast. "Lovely rooms in a beautifully decorated and cosy inn in the centre of town. Lovely touches with espresso machine, nice bathroom products and quality linen and very well cleaned. Didn’t eat or drink there so can’t comment. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. "
