"We had a wonderful weekend in this shepherds hut. Sam was a great host, excellent communication before the stay and when we arrived. The hut was exactly as the photos depict on the website. "There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) However, the owners were extremely apologetic and very friendly and welcoming, they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for any inconvenience. "Very friendly staff and a great location for what we needed! I was doing Brighton Marathon so was a good distance from the start and finish lines with loads of places to eat leading up to the event! The room were great and had all I needed for the weekend! I will be staying again! :-)"

"The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. Other places we have stayed in, charge between £20-£50 per stay. So, as lovely and convenient as it is,...

Clean, safe, friendly hotel

"Nice hotel, pleasant clean room with a great view, friendly, helpful staff, and good buffet breakfast. It's not the closest hotel to Gatwick, but is only about a 10-minute taxi ride away, so it's definitely manageable. I would stay there again."

" The hotel is nice and clean, with an excellent location—everything you need is close by, and there's a car park conveniently located right across the street. Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and very welcoming, and the housekeeping was top-notch. I also appreciated the unlimited complimentary amenities. I’ll definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again. "

"It's a bit of a walk but the Six Bells is a great pub to visit. Quaint and historic with really good food. Staff there is good too. There's an old church and a beautiful park with walking trails as well. The location has easy options to get to the airport and train. Food at the hotel is excellent too."

Excellent stay

"Went with a friend for overnight stay in Brighton. The parking was easy (under the hotel); the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated at the edge of the Lanes, lots of good restaurants nearby, it is on the sea front so lovely walks along the Promenade. The pier is just over the road. The swimming pool is small. Breakfast is really good - complete with someone cooking fresh pancakes and omelettes. "
