"The only disappointing things about the Halifax Hall Hotel in Sheffield was that we were only there one night. Lovley room and bathroom both spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and it created a lovley atmosphere. Enjoyed drinks in the bar before having a great meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was just as good. Lots of choice and the quality of the food and presentation was excellent. We just found the hotel a little hard to find, maybe a sign at the bottom of the drive saying Halifax...

When checking in Alison on reception was really kind, telling my husband he could go back to the hotel and use their facilities even after check out. She even loaned us her own usb plug overnight so we could charge our devices. We have known the hotel for years, my husband went to King Edward’s school across the road, and I used to stay on business in the 1980’s and 90’s. We also held my husband’s 60th birthday party there...
