"What a charming place. The garden and area around the property was lovely, as were the hydrangeas. The room was clean, comfortable, cozy, and quaint. Would love to stay here again!"

"special visit to WW2 airfield. Inital commander at the end of the was was good friend. Stay at the BnB was perfect and close to all. People very friendly. Philip has excellent command of English."

"This was a return visit to Le Refuge, having stayed there 3 years previously. The owners remembered us and on arrival were offered 'coffee and cake'! This visit was just as memorable as the first with the hosts being the best. The property is superbly located being a short distance from the center of Hasselt. Leider hätten wir fast das über Expedia gebuchte und bereits bezahlte Zimmer nicht erhalten, da der Vermieter seinen Aussagen zufolge den Vertrag mit Expedia Anfang Februar gekündigt hat und keine Reservierung vorliegen hatte.
