"I stayed here for one night to see a show at The Old Fire Station (5 minute walk) and walked from train station (5 minute walk). It’s in a superb central position. The staff were so friendly and check in was a breeze. It’s an older hotel which shows and don’t go expecting a luxury experience but for the price I don’t think it can be beaten. I had a quiet room at the back of the place and my bed was super comfy, I slept amazingly well and never usually do when I’m away from home. I’ll certainly stay again and can only recommend this hotel it’s great! "

"As nice hotel just outside the railway station and on the A6 main road into Carlisle it was easy to find. Instructions for finding the car park would help. "
