"The hotel was lovely and very clean. We had a great stay nothing was any problem to the chef as we are vegetarian and vegan. They accommodated both of us for breakfast and dinner. We would definitely stay again and recommend. The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel is very close to M6 for heading north or south. "

"We booked a last minute one night getaway to Langley Castle and the whole experience was perfect. Every member of staff was friendly and kind without being too attentive / disturbing us. The room was lovely with lots of little added touches. The hotel is very dog friendly and our Shiba had a lovely time! The castle is impressive and the woodlands around it are very pretty. The Castle View room was a good size with a lovely set of high back chairs beside a table - perfect for playing cards! The drawing room and bar area is very unique within the castle and dogs can come in to that space. Finally the evening meal and breakfast in the dining room were delicious! "

"We visited for a wedding in the adjoining Le petite chateau and had a wonderful day. All of the staff were polite, helpful and service was excellent. The wedding food and the breakfast were both delicious. Our room was a good size with a lovely walk in rainfall shower. My only slight disappointment was that the room was very dark despite 2 windows because they both faced onto a wall. It didn’t really matter to us because we literally only slept in it but I’d be unhappy if we were staying a few nights. Definitely recommend. "

"I mean, Northumberland is a beautiful place, and this property was no less beautiful. It is the most eco-conscious hotel we've ever stayed in, with it's own garden, solar panels. and I believe a rain catcher? There's so much wildlife in the area, bird feeders and cats roaming around. We got lucky and there was a bit of clear sky our second night, so we headed to the observatory and got to spots some stars since it's in a Dark Sky Park. It was also a great distance to all the sights in the area, particularly Hadrian's Wall and the Roman Forts. Breakfast was fantastic, staff was friendly, food and drink were great. An overalls really fantastic stay."

"We had had two very nice nights’ stay at the Fleece as part of a tour of Hadrian’s wall. The pub/hotel has been refurbished to a high standard with quality materials, joinery and fittings. We stayed in a superior room that was very well maintained and much larger than we expected. We ate breakfast both mornings. There was a buffet (cereals, juice, toast, pastries, yoghurt, etc.) and a good range of dishes cooked to order. Dinner was also excellent with a good choice, high quality food and very good service. The staff on the first day were extremely good - professional, experienced and attentive. The second day there were different staff who were less professional and less experienced, but it didn’t spoil the stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend it. "
