"Came to Harrogate for a few days and this place was perfect. Has everything you need. It’s clean and the host was very very helpful with great communication. Location is easy to get into Harrogate and even in the snow storm I could walk into the centre as the buses were suspended. There’s a shop at the end of the road and the neighbourhood is very quiet. Can highly recommended."

"Stayed at Apple Tree Corner in Harrogate and we arrived late to a spotlessly clean house that was tastefully furnished with all the amenities we needed. Location is ideal, a 15 mins stroll into the centre of Harrogate. Nice quiet and very private location. Loved that the car was safe and it had FREE parking (had to pay everywhere else in Harrogate). "We were disappointed when we arrived because the house hadn’t been heated. It was 14 degrees and we had to spend the evening in the kitchen with our coats on to keep warm. It wasn’t obvious how to change the heating so it reached 16 degrees maximum and was absolutely freezing at night. We have a 3 month old baby so I spent the night worrying he was too cold. The next day my husband did manage to fix the heating only to find out the pool wasn’t heated much to the kids disappointment. The...

"Had a wonderful time in York. The place is in walking distance to everywhere we wanted to visit. The house was perfect for our typical tourist needs."

"This was just perfect! The house was well stocked including the kitchen and the location could not have been better. It was so lovely just to walk through the church yard to the pub for dinner. I would highly recommend and we will def. be back!!"

"We informed Host and Stay the day we arrived the toilet down stairs was not working. We called them each day we were there to get resolution. They came to look at the toilet the next day in the afternoon and yet they did not fix the toilet. They made no attempt the remaining 2 days we were there. When we left 2 days later, the toilet had not been fixed. Host and Stay has been non-responsive as to offering us a refund."

"Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. Communication before arrival was great, as was check in when we were helped with our bags down the steps and shown around. Anita (our host) was on holiday...

"What a great flat size, cleanliness and location! The flat was located just on the outskirts of the City Center, which made it very quiet, but also easy and very accessible to the town, sites and restaurants. The mattress was very comfortable, which is a BIG deal when traveling. Overall, a great value for the money! "

"Very few properties are perfect and this property had a few issues, but these pale in comparison to the convenience, location, professionalism, and cleanliness. The staff more were truly amazing and they themselves deserve five stars. They were accommodating, considerate, professional, efficient, kind, and truly represented the very best of York. I would be inclined to make these apartments my go to place for any future visits to York."

"The apartment is in an excellent location right by the river, two minutes walk from several restaurants and five minutes walk to York centre. It was lovely and warm and the garage a huge bonus. The kitchen was well equipped. We were surprised that there was no welcome pack as is standard in self catering accommodation and the kettle was heavily lime scaled. We bought some descaler but it needs several attempts so we had to use a pan to heat water for drinks. The person in the accommodation...

Great location with a touch of class

"On arrival Large gravel car park to the rear not great for suitcases with wheels and a £15 per day charge. The hotel reception certainly has that bistro feel the decor and area itself is very well looked after and not tired looking We stayed in the annex which is a 30 second walk from reception our room was called brown brothers …very clean with a comfortable bed and a large tv, iron, hair dryer, free safe, tea and coffee the bathroom was excellent, the shower was superb. Had a drink in the bar area a little on the pricey side no draught beer, At breakfast there’s a selection of cereals and fruit, toast etc the main part of your breakfast is from the menu the large English breakfast was excellent 9/10 from me. York centre is about 15-20 min walk the train station is a 10 min walk I wouldn’t normally add photos to a review I should of took these on arrival not departure A special to mention for the reception and restaurant staff … 10/10"
