The stepping stones used as stairs are uneven, some wobbly, and no hand rails, which made them very UNSAFE. The home needs a new latch on the gate and a handle on the patio door. "We enjoyed our stay in Waldstatt. The house was in a nice location for us to travel to various places in the region. We do wish there had been a charcoal or gas grill and a dryer. The kitchen was very nice and very well stocked will all the items we needed. The children enjoyed the bunk beds."

"It's really at top of the world. The cottage is at the top of Nessalu mountain top. Excellent if you want to spend time in nature. It's difficult to find so contact the owner before you go there. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. She knows only German, but she was really nice to use Google translate to talk. I want to really thank her for that. I think it's good for a group 10-15 people. But it will be amazing for a couple too."

"We loved our stay at this little farm cottage built in the 1700s. So much charm and authenticity! The brand new kitchen had everything we needed. Views of the alps from the windows were breathtaking. The owners live in the attached cottage and speak terrific English. They are extremely helpful. My only recommendation to them is that they perhaps place some slipcovers over the two sofas in the living room of the cottage since they are a little musty and dusty.
