It was right next to the bus stop and conveniently located just South of the tourist activities. We enjoyed the apartment and the extra touches that our host put into the stay for us. "Wir hatten eine super Zeit im Birentobel. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Nadja persönlich zum Haus begleitet. Das Haus war bereits vorgewärmt, sodass wir sehr entspannt ankommen konnten. Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung, kein überflüssiger Schnickschnack, aber alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Ein perfekter Ort, um abzuschalten und vom Alltag runter zu kommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"It's really at top of the world. The cottage is at the top of Nessalu mountain top. Excellent if you want to spend time in nature. It's difficult to find so contact the owner before you go there. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. She knows only German, but she was really nice to use Google translate to talk. I want to really thank her for that. I think it's good for a group 10-15 people. But it will be amazing for a couple too."

"We enjoyed our stay in Waldstatt. The house was in a nice location for us to travel to various places in the region. We do wish there had been a charcoal or gas grill and a dryer. The kitchen was very nice and very well stocked will all the items we needed. The children enjoyed the bunk beds."

"We travelled with 11 people. From grandparents to 5 kids age 11-14 yrs old. Raffael & Mona’s place was great! Our family truly enjoyed our stay. From the woodstove to the great sound system to relax to. Also walk to some local wineries to pick up a few wines. Raffi was a great host and was always available. Such a unique home. Thanks for having us. "

"Beautiful view. Water heater was great. We appreciated the communication in English. Well lighted bathrooms. The stepping stones used as stairs are uneven, some wobbly, and no hand rails, which made them very UNSAFE. The home needs a new latch on the gate and a handle on the patio door. The downstairs was dusty and many spider webs. Drapes or blidownstairs"

"We spent a very enjoyable 3 days at the chalet - the view from the balcony was like being in a postcard! Everything was new and clean, and the laundry was so helpful. We walked to the chairlift for a day of hiking in the Alps, visited the Zwingli house just down the road, and discovered the Fortuna Cafe and nearby waterfalls. "This is a breathtaking property. Rolling hills and turquoise lakes as far as the eye can see. Great communication with property owner. The only downfalls of this stay is the small bathroom and the fact that the upstairs neighbors can hear your every word.
