"The Denali Sunset House was to be our "base camp" for activities in the area. It was hard to leave the house. We wanted to just sit and enjoy nature. "The Denali lake cabin is a hidden gem near Denali. David was wonderful from booking to check out. We had no problems at all! The cabin is tucked back out of the way- but David’s directions are spot on. The cabin is spacious, the bed very comfortable, linens and towels very good quality. If you wanted to cook, there’s a full kitchen and the basics, salt, pepper, oil etc are there. Highly recommend. Would stay here again."

"Found the listing information and previous reviews to be accurate. Step ups to bathrooms and living area require extra caution for a traveling group of seniors. The only thing I would add is don’t miss the Fat Truck tour in Healy. Probably the highlight of our three week trip. "

"Beautiful spot. Rustic of course. The road in is quite difficult. You need both the 4wd (which I had) and some offroading skills (which maybe I had less of). But Dave got us through it; picked us up inhis ATV and got our car out. If you do decide to try it yourself you need to commit to it. I got stuck because I was timid. Ideally get there before dark."
