"We had a wonderful week at Stella and Bob's property. The house was well equipped and set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Our children loved the table tennis, badminton net, football goal and swings & slide! Our hosts were very helpful and friendly and we hope to return in the future."

"Maddie (the owner)was there if required and very helpful. Well equipped and quiet place to stay. If you have children there is a vast amount od toys and a toy shed. There are chickens at the end of the garden and love to be fed any scraps you have left. The garden is well kept and very pleasant. I give it 5 stars."

I would rate this location as OK for a transit, I would however not recommend staying here for a longer holiday because it is very noisy especially when there were other guests in the same building. "We had a very pleasant stay at this quirky octagonal cottage. It is in a little hamlet up a long lane so was very quiet. The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. The lane to the Le Gibet is narrow but is one way so you don't have to worry about meeting another car going up. Entering the lane going up the hill is fine as its on the right. "We had a spacious, well presented and clean gîte. The home is tastefully decorated, lots of interesting decor! The kitchen was incredibly usable for making full meals or sides to accompany grilled meats - we did leave BBQ tools for other guests to take advantage of!
