"We arrived in Hallstatt around 3pm and found a parking spot in P1. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the VRBO. There is a shuttle available, but I cannot comment on that. The key was in a lock box beside the VRBO, on the Seeside Café wall. You have to climb stairs to get to your room. Upon walking in, the lake view immediately draws you in! It is breathtaking! "We just finished a 30 day visit to Europe and stayed in 4 different and excellent vrbos. Chalet jagdhaus was by far and away our favorite. The location the chalet and the chalet amenities were fantastic. We did not have a vehicle, but the train was just a short walk, hiking in the area was terrific, and having the bikes made it even more enjoyable. And to top it off the sauna was a nice bonus. "We had a wonderful time in Steuer-Annaberg among the Austrian Alps in the Salzkamergut. The Chalet was beautiful! Upon arrival it was bright, cheerful, and pleasantly fresh among the mountain air. It seemed the layout was thoughtfully determined - with the entry level bringing one into the living room and kitchen/dinning room areas with a bathroom for that level. "Fantastic property. Very spacious and very modern in style. About 20min drive to city center. Supermarkets are nearby and also rail station. We did not use the rail from here but went into Salzburg Hauptbahnhof. Highly recommend unless you want to be in the city center. Odessa provided good details and getting into the property."

"We stayed at Haus Lehner im Wald for a nearby family wedding. The property was very well looked after and clean with everything we needed. A beautiful setting and a perfect base for exploring the local area and lakes. There are shops and supermarkets within a 10 minute drive. Our first summer evening was spent eating in the courtyard sampling the local food, cider and schnapps. Very peaceful and away from it all."
