"We arrived Casa Bella after a less than stellar ride from the airport with a recommended driver from the owner. His driving was a bit erratic and fast. We were relieved to have made it! We were met by the property manager Francini who was reaching out to the community manager because the neighbors were having a very loud karaoke party by their pool. It wasn’t the serene arrival that we had expected and it went on throughout the evening. Our rental information had said parties were not allowed. ...

"We were 5 friends (two couples and a single) and the three bedrooms were perfect. We wanted something central, and not expensive. We wanted to be able to walk to the beach and restaurants, but still be off the main drag so quiet. The Villa Maracuja was perfect, not fancy, but with a lovely comfortable porch, where we spent most of the time.Any issues we had were dealt with promptly by Leonardo!"

"The location is amazing right on the beach with the atmosphere of breeze and nature."

"The house is great! lots of space to hang out. One thing to take note is that there was only 4 pool chair lounges and we were 10 people. The lounge cushions are very old, torn and stained and should really be replaced. So this made lounging around the pool difficult and uncomfortable. "

They answered all of the questions I had leading up to the trip and stayed in contact during the trip to help with communication between my group and the staff. "We brought family and friends to Villa Del Mar for a week long stay. We hosted our wedding at the villa as well. We had a wonderful experience. The food was fabulous. Omar, Joel, and Jose were so nice and helpful. Rebecca went above and beyond to help me plan the wedding for 10 months prior to our arrival. She was great at communicating and she answered every question I had and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted for our big day. She also came to check in periodically during our stay....

"The house was location in a safe area with walk out to the beach as advertised . The design and quality material of the house is great. However, water leaked into first floor bedroom when it rained. There was pealing of plaster on the lanai. The family room had connections for TV and other devises , but there was no TV. The TV in the bunk room was broken.The staff were attentive and the food was prepared to our request every day. None of the staff spoke English"

"Beautiful villa that is a short 5 minute walk or 30 second drive to the beach. Plenty of room with 3BR, 3.5 bath with nice pool and rooftop terrace. AC units are in all 3 bedrooms and living room as well so the place stays nice and cool. This villa is in a VERY secure and safe area, security entering and exiting the community is strict and I always felt comfortable. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with. There is also a maid who can come by and cook for guests, she prepared some...

"We loved our stay with Sylvia. Her property is simply a tropical paradise and she and her staff are great. The accommodations are very basic, and rather quaint which suited us just fine. If you are expecting slick, new and air conditioning, this is not the place for you. But if you want a little piece of tropical beauty, with a great pool, then we would highly recommend this property. you must like dogs as well ,there are 5 of them"

The location is perfect—just a short 5 minute walk to the beach "Playa Punta Popy" and many very good restaurants. "L'hotel en lui meme etait tres bien, repas tres bon, personnel competent, locaux propre, belle plage ect... Seul insatisfaction sur l'emplacement de l'hotel qui est loin de las terennas et mal deservit. Nous avons eu l'impression que l'hotel faisait tout pour nous garder a l'hotel car pour 12km aller/retour ils nous proposer un servkce taxi a 70 euros. En sortant un taxi nous a prit pour 7euros (l'accueil de l'otel s'est caché de nous le dire) ... Cettains toutistes sont malheuresement pas respectueux du personnels ... Bonne adresse 😇"

"The entertainment staff is the best they made the vacation fun with pool games, dance practices, and nightly entertainment I even got to ride an electrical bull. The food was the usual if you are familiar with DR resorts. I love the Republica Dominicana the people are Godly people of love!"

"Hotel Alisei is quaint and charming. No frills but everything you need. Very clean property throughout. Cute pool, excellent spa and massage. Lovely beach right across the little street with a nice bar and food. The staff is attentive and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. Very good complimentary breakfast, too. Conveniently located to other points of interest. Highly recommend Hotel Alisei if you’re in Las Terrenas. "
