"Fishing/Lake: There is absolutely no access to the lake, including the community beach. No swimming. No fishing. Such details must be in the property's details in caps. Fishing or swimming is not allowed. Water: Smelly brown water in the house. You can’t drink it or cook with it or even take a shower. It is disguising. No heads-up about the water issue. Kitchen: The smell of dirty dishes welcomed us. It looks like the previous renters left them there. Only 4 forks and 1 knife in the house....

"This house was a great find! We were attending a wedding at Lake Hopatcong and instead of staying in a bunch of hotel rooms, we choose this home. Four spacious bedrooms, extra beds for additional guests and everything we needed to enjoy being together as a family. Having to travel from North Carolina, my husband and I had to work remotely one day during our stay. The bedrooms upstairs had nice desk space to accommodate private space for us to work. The view of the lake made the stay even more...

"Everything was great, lots of bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and more than 1 space to hang out. We had little kids, so plugs should be put into the outlets near the floor. A few of the main rooms walls could use a refresher of paint"

"Our family very much enjoyed a recent long weekend getaway at this beautiful, clean and well-stocked home on the lake. We took advantage of using all the great amenities: hot tub, pool, game room, canoe and kayak. The beds were SO comfortable!!! There are restaurants and shopping areas not far away, so it’s an ideal location for a vacation spot. They allowed our dogs to join us which was such an advantage as well. "This house was decently located for visiting family. It was well kept and tidy and suited our needs for traveling with a group. Plenty of space and parking, and the beds are comfortable. If you usually have a morning coffee, note that the coffee maker is a keurig so you’ll need to plan accordingly or just go to the coffee shop about a 10 minute walk away."
