"I have never been more satisfied with a hotel. The most friendly staff. One of the more pristine hotels in the area, front desk staff were spot on professional Bibi, if I'm correct was one of the best, bending over backwards to ensure that I had something to eat, quickly whipped up some eggs and bacon. I commend the ENTIRE hotel staff, completely untiring. The hardest work is done in the background. I don't know all of their names, I'm actually ashamed I don't know all of them. They should all give themselves a pat on the back for their efforts."

"The property is beautiful and was perfect for our stay. We were in town to see a family members art exhibit. It was my father first stay at a rental property like this and was a good experience for him. We really enjoyed the game room and projecter tv to watch the Superbowl! "Wonderful - Annual tradition at the lake. Snow falling and we were warm and cozy together in the lodge and cabins. Camille is a superb host. Very special place. "

"Found the property without issues, but parking was challenging. The parking in front was open, but stairs were dark and railing was sketchy. The tenant attached to property was polite, but could never seem to have his vehicle parked in a manner that would allow us to park in the back reserved spot. The tenant also had the living room remote control which made us wonder if he had access to the property. The actual house is old - which is not bad. We could tell it had many upgrades, but the walls need painting, mouldings need repair. One of the door handle plates actually fell off. The downstairs bedrooms were cold, but there were plenty of extra blankets. The front room was noisy and was brighter that the face of the sun in the morning - needs curtains! The main level bathroom had a separate heater, but it was super cold regardless. The kitchen was fine, but the frig water filter had not been changed out. the fireplace was great, but the LR did not have comfortable seating for 5. I am sure this is a wonderful place in spring/summer given the lake access. I would not come here again in winter. Overall, it met our basic needs, but not worth the price. I would have opted for a couple of hotel room instead. "

"The house was clean and inviting. The manager was highly responsive and friendly. I would recommend this home to anyone. The only improvement would be a working dishwasher. Great stay!"
