"My best friend and I hadn't seen one another in over two years. I had heard so many wonderful comments about Lola's since I live in Boothbay. We decided to stay at Lola's to get away from all distractions, catch up, relax and chill. It was a real girl's "retreat house". Everything we needed to be comfortable and pampered was in the lodge. Shopping and restaurants were just minutes away."

"The location is outstanding! This particular cottage is okay. They advertise a washer, dryer, and fireplace. None of which you are allowed to use. They also said they are available for questions. The one time we emailed, we got no response. There were also dirty towels left hung up behind one of the bedroom doors when we arrived."

"The house was beautiful and located close by both Portland and Freeport. Had a mix-up on checking in since I expected the owner, not Vrbo, to communicate house entry instructions. Overall liked the house very well but with a bigger group than our three it would have been somewhat short of the privacy required."

The cottage had everything we needed for a HQ for exploring the area. Having outdoor seating was really nice as well! We loved the guide that was provided as well. "Quiet, cottage location on a peninsular with easy accessibility (7mins by car, 40 mins walking) to Boothbay Harbor town and surrounding region. Communication with the owners was particularly good and very personable. "
