Also there were not enough towels available. Aside from some basic maintenance, it was as expected and hosts were responsive to our questions and concerns."

There is easy access to the town of Castine and the house is a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed swimming. The house was well-equipped. The beds and living area were comfortable. Mary Lou was responsive to our questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

The pictures don't do the property justice, it truly is a beautiful location. Mike goes above and beyond making sure everything is perfect and taken care of with incredible attention to detail. "The cottage was cute and well equipped. At first as we were driving there it seemed so far off the beaten path. As we ventured out the next day to Acadia National park we realized we weren’t that far away. It was about a 45 min drive. We do like to watch a little tv before bed; so, if you want a tv, there is no tv. We listened to our music. It was a little too cold to sit outside to do any star gazing. The view of the sunrise over Cadillac mountain was beautiful!"
