The River Cottage was so well equipped with kitchen ware, microwave, full oven, refrigerator and even Alexa for listening 🎧 to music at night on our Lanai. Paul the property manager was gracious and the cottage was immaculate. "Upon arrival to the convenient location I appreciated the parking stall in the covered carport beneath the cottage. Very comfortable and cute cottage with everything one might need. I enjoyed kayaking up the Wailua river and having the access with the private communal dock just across the cul de sac. The bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly to the breezes and sounds of the trees and rain with the windows open. Didn’t use the air conditioner, but nice option to have. "Absolutely loved the location, the quiet neighborhood, the big lanai, the outdoor shower and the brand new bbq! Found the counter space a bit small for doing much cooking. Only small issue was that the cutlery drawer had a horrible musty smell, possibly from the wicker tray, so we kept our cutlery in a mug on the counter. Would definitely stay again!"

"Enjoyed our stay! Loved the screened in porch for meals. Enjoyed sunset every evening at Po'ipu beach park a 5 minute walk. Great hike on the Heritage Trail to Secret Beach. We did day trips to Eleele and Hanapepe, Salt Beach Waimea and Kekaha beach. All in all a fantastic stay. Easy check-in and spacious house. Quiet neighborhood. "

"We celebrated the 50th anniversary of our first date at the Hale Lo’i Cottage. It was a great location and lodging for a couple for the last week of a month in Hawaii. The cottage is perfect for a couple with ample space, storage and amenities. Great quiet neighborhood location walkable to dining and shopping options. "We rented two ocean front condos. The kitchens were well stocked. The units were nicely furnished. The views were incredible. The grounds were so pristine! The kids loved the pool and walking to Lydgate to swim and snorkel. It was quiet and not busy. We enjoyed endless walks on the beach. It was a great place to get together with the family. They don’t nickel and dime your for parking, resort fees, etc. this was perfect for our needs! We are already planning a return trip for next year!"
