"Located near the Morioka Castle ruins, about a 10 minute walk. Nearby nightlife was fun but limited. If you arrive for the wanko soba challenge, it’s a 15 minute walk."

"Pretty close to Morioka Station, this hotel is clean. The available carpark is not free and quite limited in spaces. Not really suited to families as there weren't any family rooms available. It's called Hotel Jin Morioka Ekimae, but it's really behind the station which is a quieter area with minimal dining and shopping."

"The hotel is in a prime locaiton. It is very close to Morioka Station, just 4 min walk via subway. It is walkable to all important sightseeing location in the city centre. Staff has kept the hotel very clean."

"The miso soup on the first day was salty, and on the second day it was too thin to drink. Spa was so good."

"Quite a nice stay at Guesthouse Fuga. The lady owner is lovely and the included breakfast was good too. Twin room with air con quite spacious and there is a desk and chair, a couple of coathangers. Just me but if you had 2 people sharing- 1 person gets a bed, the other person gets a fold out bed. I slept fine and area very quiet. A parking spot at the front door is excellent. All rooms are upstairs so you need to be able to walk up about 15 stairs. 1 toilet and 1 washbasin upstairs but I didn't...
