"Natural Hot Springs Dormy Inn is always our #1 choice when we visit Morioka. It’s in a very convenient location to visit many museums and points of attraction in downtown Morioka. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and very understanding with my limited Japanese. They are also very responsive to messages on apps or emails. "Excellent location right beside Morioka station. The staff was very good and the breakfast was good. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that I don't really like the machine-check in they've switched to. There are Front Desk staff standing right there watching me check in on the machine--it's very impersonal and probably a little less efficient because I didn't know the process clearly. "Rooms were exceptional, bringing traditional colours and concepts into modern developments of convenience in a beautiful area. Although minimalist cooking appliances such as kettle and microwave however there is no need when located directly next to a street of varying Japanese food. Beyond this I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend to others "

"I missed checking in because I did not catch the shinkansen. Nevertheless, when I called to try to cancel, the lady at the other end of the line was extremely helpful and did her best to provide the best service. Although cancellation was not possible because it was done through Expedia (who by the way was not responsive at all), they offered to accommodate us the next morning to eat breakfast and stay in the room until checkout time st 11AM."

"The hotel is in a prime locaiton. It is very close to Morioka Station, just 4 min walk via subway. It is walkable to all important sightseeing location in the city centre. Staff has kept the hotel very clean."

"I think opening of the Shinkansen station made the west side of ichinoseki less favorable. It is not a fault of the hotel, but it is a disadvantage. "

"Pretty close to Morioka Station, this hotel is clean. The available carpark is not free and quite limited in spaces. Not really suited to families as there weren't any family rooms available. It's called Hotel Jin Morioka Ekimae, but it's really behind the station which is a quieter area with minimal dining and shopping."

"I wholeheartedly recommend this onsen to anyone visiting morioka, even if for a couple of nights only. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the service was the best we had experienced before in any hotel or onsen. "Public bath was too crowded. There were no spaces for us. So, I didn’t use it, But the hotel asked us to pay Onsen tax. I think it should be included in the price when I booked. "

"The room had its own hot spring and living area, making it feel just like home—perfect for a relaxing stay. I also appreciated having access to the laundry facilities and massage chair. However, the two golden lion statues at the entrance were a bit intimidating."
