"The cabin is nicely tucked away on the edge of woods off a rural road. The cabin was immaculate with a pleasant wood smell. It was stocked with all basics as you'd expect. The country store, a short walk away, was the perfect spot for coffee and breakfast. We only wished that the shower head was adjustable and the bed was not so squeaky. We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway! "

"This place is spectacular! The views of the lake are better than the photos and change throughout the day with changing conditions. We saw a bald eagle fly by twice!! The house is small but very cozy with a comfy living room and lovely gas fireplace. It has a great sunroom overlooking the lake, nice little yard with picnic table and a dock. The kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely like to come back. Just a note.. bring drinking water as the tap water is not okay to drink but was...

"This was my second stay at the cottage and I look forward to more visits in the future. The setting is so lovely and private while still being close to so many lovely towns and activities. That said, the house itself could use a little updating and love. The mattresses are very soft so I had some trouble sleeping. And new sheets and linens would be great. Also, there is no screen door to the primary entrance to the lake, which would be an excellent addition to this otherwise wonderful place."

"We truly enjoyed unplugging and enjoying the rustic charm of the Lome in Clemons. We were pleased with the cleanliness, the decor and welcoming feel overall. The amenities were plentiful and we had everything we needed! One disadvantage is the distance from Lake George and the water. Thank you for the hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us! "
