"The cabin is larger than I expected; it is essentially a small house, and proved supremely comfortable. Vermont gets *cold* in the winter, but we always felt cozy inside. The decor, while simple, is tasteful and evokes a Longfellowian image of a comfortable country retreat. Shower and bath is *hot* and revitalizing. We hiked up the Appalachian trail and supplied our necessities at the Country Store, both within easy walking distance. Difficult hike in snowy and icy conditions, but well worth it...

"The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and more! The grill worked well too. The view of the lake was wonderful, and having the kayaks a bonus. "The cabin is nicely tucked away on the edge of woods off a rural road. The cabin was immaculate with a pleasant wood smell. It was stocked with all basics as you'd expect. The country store, a short walk away, was the perfect spot for coffee and breakfast. We only wished that the shower head was adjustable and the bed was not so squeaky. "Had an absolute blast with friends at this lovely “modern cabin”. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably with a the necessary amenities needed to get by. Awesome fire pit and river access. We visit Cronins Golf Resort and it was amazing. The place was Caddy Shack meets Cheers. I highly recommend this awesome place for a weekend getaway! "
