"We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. "Wonderful camp, just magnificent views of the pond. The road was tough (unpaved), but it was so quiet. Again we went in October. Inside was very clean and nice, just like the photos they had on the website. We took drive to Bar Harbor very nice 👌 "

"Our stay was wonderful. The surroundings were very peaceful. The cottage was smaller than we anticipated, but it was very well done and clean! Location was a little far from Acadia NP, but we didn’t mind the drive, especially because the cost of the cabins were very inexpensive. We’d stay again! Wonderful vacation!"

"Adorable cottage with an amazing view of the pond. Main floor very spacious, large kitchen, adorable decor with attention to detail. Set up to have a fire in the wood stove or outside right next to the pond. So relaxing and cozy! Owner is in main house next door and came and introduced himself when we arrived. Just the right amount of off the beaten path but still convenient to Bangor and local shops. We hope to return!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Overlook. The view was fantastic, use of kayaks & fire pit was great & we totally relaxed with our pup. The only thing we could have used was info on where the transfer station was, how to get the bedroom TV to work (we figured it out, though) & a starter roll of paper towels. Aside from these minute issues, this is a wonderful cabin to escape to! I’d definitely stay here again! "
