"Hotel was well situated in the heart of the village, easy to locate with plenty of onsite parking. Next door to a great pub with good food. Room was very clean and tidy with a sea view. Breakfast was really good. Very friendly place, would definitely stay again if in the area. "

Only feedback I would like to provide is improved instructions to the car parking space - suggestion would be to add I-scream as a landmark as to were to turn onto the marina - “black railings” is not clear especially as the drive into the space looks pedestrian (this should also be mentioned). "A couple of downsides - stairs rather steep and a little dimly lit for an elderly lady and not sure sound proofing in rooms is that good but otherwise very enjoyable stay with very accommodating hosts "

"The property is clean but its noisy because its close to the road and i can smell the food from the kitchen. And the the iwner of the property open my bag behind my back and throw away all my food "

"This B&B is clean, central located, self service accomodation. The only problem is parking, which can be tricky. When we stayed there the weather is hot and sunny, and our room is up in the loft, so it was very warm, we have fan to cool the air, but AC perhaps is a better solution. The velux at the top floor is great for light, but not so good in the warm weather especially when it is not open. Overall we enjoyed our stay. "

"Beautiful B&B on a hill, but walkable to the bay and wharf and many dining options. The Bay Area is a little tacky with pin ball, casinos bars etc, but we had a very nice dinner at a spot called “Local” and it was walking distance to our lodging."

"We had the best time onboard, we are a family of 5 staying 4 nights, there was plenty of room and the cleanliness and facilities were outstanding, glen and Emma are so lovely and brought fresh bottles of water, milk, bread. "Lovely place, perfect for us. Clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay again. Was worried about parking but no need as about 5-6 big parking places round the back. 2 mins to shops in Mutley and about 10-15 min walk in to Plymouth. "

Everything spot on, the people make it!

"The hotel is an older structure and has been modernised throughout to a very high standard with evidence of new work present around the lifts and some common areas; the rooms are probably getting ready for a refresh as whilst it was really clean there are chips out of the bath and the shower/taps could do with being renewed. The staff welcoming us at check-in were friendly and top class; that said the bar staff and breakfast staff were all really, really excellent in every way and they make the hotel absolutely perfect. The beds were comfy, the family room nice and quiet too, the breakfast was great and everything perfect which is why I love a Crowne Plaza "
