"Amazing period featured property, staff excellent, checking, breakfast and bar staff all great. Breakfast choice great and cooked to perfection. Property has parking and literally 2 minutes walk to Clark’s village. Only downside for us was bed/pillows not overly comfortable, I guess could be personal choice. Would recommend staying at the property."

"Cosy and comfortable. Decent bedding and excellent duvet. Really nice breakast. The bathroom safety rails should be replaced as very rusty but plenty of hot water. Overall very clean, only let down by the rusty rails in the bathroom. Wouldnt put me off staying again, it was so peaceful and comfortable."

"Definitely a 5* review, we would definitely stay again. We had a family room so the children had their own bedroom. It was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed in, immaculate! The breakfast options were fantastic and the staff were all so friendly. We immediately felt relaxed. Locationwise it was a short stroll to the beach or up the hill to the lovely Royal Oak pub. "Nice, if all you want is a "basic" pub room for the night. There was a good basic pub menu. A respectable sprinkling of locals seem to consider it where they go. Not a lot of "olde worlde charm", but the sheets were clean, the plumbing modern and worked. Good HVAC provision. I'd stay here again. Seemed to be owner/operated- always a plus in my book, and the people we met tried to please."

"Nice room, bathroom had both shower and bath but when we went to use bath there was no plug so could not use which was disappointing. Shower was not very powerful at all. Plenty of tea /coffee provided and bottles of water provided. Beds comfy, enjoyed good sleep. They don’t do food anymore, so have to go else where for dinner & breakfast. "
