"The is a lovely little in, ideal for a short stop-over. The staff in the pub were extremely welcoming, it has a great atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. The only down side is, the room I stayed in is next to a commercial site which has bright spotlights, this means that even with the curtains closed the room wasn't overly dark. Also the bed wasn't that comfortable, so I didn't sleep very well. Overall a pleasant stay, and possibly somewhere I would consider for a future stay."

"We only stayed one night in a double room with en-suite in Hattie’s House which is a building across the car park and had a wonderful evening meal in the pub itself.The interior of the pub was exceptionally warm and inviting. The breakfast was good also."

"Situated right in middle of Sturminster with parking round the back so no parking fees. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom was clean but needed a bit of attention to mould in grouting around shower area. Lovely soft large towels "

"A pleasant stay in an attractive country pub The room was spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The bed comfortable. The food was good especially the breakfast. It is in a pretty village good for walking outside. Plenty of parking. Would like to see double glazing on the windows as right by a road. However this isn’ta problem at night as very quiet and peaceful. The room was exceptional with vaulted beams and chandeliers. A lovely bathroom with pleasant toiletries but the shower shelf on...

"We stayed in room 9 which looks out on the sea and the cliffs. A small but lovely room with a wet room en-suite. Breakfast was included and was excellent. The first day the weather was beautiful and you almost felt you were in Greece or similar. Then overnight a major Storm rolled in and whistled the windows. Wonderful. "
