"We stayed here for 2 nights as a closer and cost efficient alternative to Hakone. The staffs were accomodating, and the room size is relatively large for Japanese hotel standard. During our stay, they also provide complimentary breakfast which made our stay very memorable. Location is very strategic to the train station, making our next part of journey to be easier. Highly recommended !"

"The onsens were a highlight, beautiful and spacious with indoor and outdoor baths. We were a family of 4 (kids 5&7) and stayed in the traditional family suite with two large single beds and a separate tatami room. There is a new section with lounge/reception and restaurant and the old building has the onsens. It is not difficult getting between them via car park or indoor corridor. Staff was good/Enhlish speaking mostly and very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and dinner included was was really nice to be able to relax and eat at the hotel. Lots of options at the buffet for our picky(ish) young kids. We enjoyed the food, the onsens and the stay! The room was a bit dated as other reviewers have noted but it added to the Japanese charm, it was fine! Pillows could be improved. Overall, very good for reasonable price and would stay again or recommend. "

"I originally planned to say at a ryokan, but since I'm traveling during busy season they traditional ones were all sold out. I stumbled upon this property, and I'm so glad I did. I would recommend this property to everyone staying in Hakone. It's central, but more than that it's gorgeous. The garden itself is beautiful with cherry blossoms (during season) and koi fish. There's a hike to the Mt Fuji view which we didn't do this time. The staff member Park was absolutely helpful - she drew us maps to help us get to the Hakone Ropeway, and she drew us a map to get to our shinkansen early morning when we were checking out. There's an area where you can pour yourself speciality coffee drinks and juices out of a machine. Also the onsen experience was wonderful! We went both days during our stay. The hotel also gives you pajamas to wear and all the amenities you could need per day! 10/10 would recommend this place!!!"
