"I was so pleasantly surprised by what was offered. I booked an overnight stay on my way to Sapporo. I had no experience with this chain and expected an average service/facility. For one night, I didn't mind. However, the staff were organised and welcoming. Unlike similar hotel chains, they had four lifts to take guests up and down. Everywhere was super clean. More importantly, the room was spacious and very comfortable. All facilities were new, and every item in the room was organised logically...

"Biggest hotel room I've had in Japan so far, with 20' ceilings. Concrete floor probably didn't help with the sea lion rookery snoring next door to me. Not much the hotel can do about that. The A/C fan is too quiet to help drown out such noise. Bring music in case you run into the same thing."

"The staff provided the 'Superb' service. I stayed at the annex building which was a bit dated but totally clean for 4 weeks. I had access to sauna, washing machine, dryer, kitchen sink, microwave, ice machine & Free breakfast. It took me 11 minutes to walk to Goryōkaku where I could enjoy viewing the cherry blossom & I loved it. I highly recommend this hotel. If I ever have the chance to visit Hakodate again during cherry blossom season, I will not hesitate to book this hotel again. "

"Two night stay in a twin room. Although this hotel is located away from the centre of Hakodate, just a 15 min tram ride gets you into the main centre. A huge Lawson’s is located just 5 mins walk away, lots of izakayas, yakitori, and ramen shops are just 7-10 mins walk away. Very conveniently located. The rooms are reasonably sized but definitely not suited for large sized luggage’s to be opened up or even stored upright. The breakfast buffet selection was incredible and delicious. Do not miss...
