a&o Brighton Beach
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (296)
"Probably the best value seaview anywhere in Britain, I took the equivalent of the presidential suite (own room, own bathroom, own Lavvie) and I secretly looked down at the sometimes grungey but always sweet natured. However, it didn’t end well because I didn’t realise that you were supposed to tidy up after yourself and word of my six-days of presidential larging was quickly comported to a young staffer who declared, with an admixture of vengefulness and pity, that I had been summarily put on...

The Kings Arms - Hostel
1.0 star property
4.0 out of 10, (8)
"The worst hostel ive ever stayed in. The cleanliness is very poor, poo on the wall in the middle toilet. In our room the windowsill was filthy with cigarette ash, we were given a single duvet for a double bed. The chest of draws was falling apart, the communal areas just stank of cigarette smoke. The few nights we were there in our private room we had people next door to us being obnoxiously loud until about 3 o clock. This place might be really cheap but its not worth it, spend a little...

Meadowsweet - luxury Shepherd's Hut, amazing views
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (11)
"We had a wonderful weekend in this shepherds hut. Sam was a great host, excellent communication before the stay and when we arrived. The hut was exactly as the photos depict on the website. Once the heater had done its job, it was really cosy and warm in there despite the outside temperature. Can't fault it. Would highly recommend. Pevensey Bay/Eastbourne are well worth a visit. Geo coffee shop in the village is lovely. If you want to go to the Observatory Stargazing evenings - book in...
