"The view is amazing.. the rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are not kidding about the drive up to their place. Wow! I did it late at night and thought for sure we were heading the wrong way."

"There is a steep hill up to the property and once your @ the parking spot, you must hike a bit more to get to the rental. Nice pool, very clean property! Owners reprimanded teenagers for playing ball in the pool, so I would have to assume that this property prefers adults over kids. Entrance to property is not well marked (but neither is any other property on Moorea!). "

"Authentic and friendly stay in a picturesque location. Sadly, Moorea suffered a massive power outage which made the stay difficult. That notwithstanding, our hosts rallied with extra water and a special effort to present breakfast in the morning!"

"What a great find! Beachfront property with a excellent view (although the beach was somewhat rocky)! "Poe" (property mgr) was a kind soul and was always there if we needed anything. King bed downstairs and singles in the upstairs loft. This property doesn't have A/C, so it does get somewhat warm during the day, but the Pacific breeze cools the space at night. Good value for the money!"

"When we located the property, it was a wonderful guest house. Note that guest houses have shared bathrooms and this one does not state that it has air conditioning. The proprietor was excellent and we loved being able to walk to the beach to snorkel!"

"Where do I begin do review this stay? In so many ways it was a stay of a lifetime. Mark’s Place is beautiful. Each bungalow is unique in design and amenities. Our bungalow had lots of windows and large glass patio door which led to a large deck with outside furniture. Our bungalow did not have toilet or shower contained within, but we did have private facilities directly across from our unit. "This property was grossly misrepresented. It was 25 minutes from airport and not even close to the beach. As we drove up pass sickly looking goats on a muddy road, we arrived at the property. It was a $30 taxi ride. Then when I was shown the room, I told the attendant it was unacceptable, she said , well you’re stuck with it, I’m not refunding you. The room was the size of the double bed. It was supposed to have a kitchenette. It really was stark and looked like a prison cell from a...

"Moorea sunset beach exceeded our expectations! It was such a beautiful spot to stay, the accommodations were clean, comfortable and right on the beach. The lagoons were beautiful and a wonderful spot for swimming, snorkelling and watching sunsets. The kayak rentals were right beside on the beach and it was a short trip to the small islands nearby. The pier was also fun to walk along and see the tropical fish swimming below. Overall, the best spot to stay for beach access, swimming, snorkeling and beauty. "

"Great place to vacation for a week. Private beach with reef full of tropical fish. Our room had kitchenette , bedroom, and large balcony with views over the bay. Everything was at a high standard and functional. The attached restaurant provided a great menu selection with a wonderful view. We would consider to come back for another visit "
