"Property a bit tired looking however, spotlessly clean and staff where friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with everything we needed although the lighting was rather dim. Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again. "

"The is a lovely little in, ideal for a short stop-over. The staff in the pub were extremely welcoming, it has a great atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. The only down side is, the room I stayed in is next to a commercial site which has bright spotlights, this means that even with the curtains closed the room wasn't overly dark. Also the bed wasn't that comfortable, so I didn't sleep very well. Overall a pleasant stay, and possibly somewhere I would consider for a future stay."

The only downside was there was no phone signal in the area, but that also meant i had no distractions for the evening! So not so bad. It also had great parking right outside the room. "We only stayed a night which really wasn’t long enough. The accommodation is at the back of the pub and it is clear a lot of thought has gone into it and it has paid off. We ate there in the evening and the food was excellent as was breakfast. Service is spot on too. Great base for surrounding area, we went to Hauser and Wirth which is only 10 minutes away. "
