"This little cottage was perfect for what we needed. When I tell you Faye thought of everything I mean *everything*. There was a lovely gift basket, every toiletry item imaginable, I don't think I've ever seen a place so well set up. The little garden outside is beautiful, the neighborhood is really nice too. Everything was perfect and Faye was very friendly but also let us keep to ourselves which I appreciated since I'm definitely on the shyer side. 100/10 would stay again! Thank you, Faye!"

"We had a great stay at the Hummingbird House! It was peaceful, quiet and a great place to unplug. There was convenient laundry on site and Tal and Audra were communicative and very kind and helpful. They even dropped off sweets for New Year’s Eve after asking if we had any dietary restrictions, which we do. Although the home feels secluded there is a grocery store as well as Petco only 15 minutes away. Downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City are fun to explore and also nearby! There is another...

"This is a perfect place to stay when visiting the Auburn, Grass Valley, Nevada City area for a long weekend.Small but cosy. Quiet, out-of-the way place in a pastoral setting . . . Hillsides; Oaks; Pines; Pond; Geese; Ducks; Boats; Kayaks; Views. Not a stay all day kind of place but nice to come back to after an out-and-about day.Host was gracious with welcome signs and clear use guidelines; Quarters were well maintained with nice kitchen and dining area.
