"This place is wonderful for a family gathering away from all of the craziness and it has everything you will need in preparing dinners and such. I will state that the playground and beach area should not be listed as the playset is old, not safe to use, and there really is no beach area. I am a lake person but will will not want to jump in that lake, it's more for the calming scenery while sipping on your morning coffee which is great on that huge back porch. "This was a great spot with plenty of sleeping space for our girl's night with family celebrating the upcoming wedding of my sister. The availability of things like the paddle boat, kayaks, plenty of life jackets, laundry detergent and machines, paper towels, toilet paper, a grill (did not use), and even Citronella candles on the back deck were all greatly appreciated. My one suggestion is that it would be great if someone pressure washed the outside of the home or at least knocked all the spider...

"This place is very unique. Amongst a small community yet very private.. Once you arrive you'll understand. It's a 5 minute walk to a good home style restaurant right on the lake. Inside is very clean, spacious and modern. I have no complaints and found the property management to be very professional, prompt and fair."

"On a hidden gem of a lake along the "no wake" zone, this little house is loved and cared for. The deck and the dock is where we spent our time, watching the birds and enjoying the music that drifted across the lake. It was great!"

"The view of the lake is just what I was looking for. We loved the screened in porches, the lights at night, and the whole house was wonderfully furnished. The kitchen was supplied well with everything but our basic food. The downstairs made a nice separate space for our adult children to have their own space and still had another bedroom for a couple friends to come and visit. We really appreciated having the kayaks and all the lifejackets available. We totally enjoyed our stay here."

"INCORRECT DATES LISTED. If you are into gobs of antiques and memorabilia..this is your place. Most every surface is covered. As an older couple, we have lots of “stuff” that we need to have by our bedside, in the bathroom, etc so we had difficulty finding space for those things. There are plenty of towels, dishes, a/c worked well, pillow choices, and outside area in the back is so cute and private even though not fully fenced. Lots of eateries close by..the food was good and we were shocked how...

"This property was lovely and such a fantastic view on the lake. We loved sitting on the huge back porch and watching the wildlife and sunsets. The home was well appointed with plenty of seating and kitchenware. The outdoor equipment (kayaks, fishing poles, etc) was a great bonus that we enjoyed. Very convenient location to Madisonville and close to enough to branch out to the state parks and sightsee. We will definitely stay again when we need to visit family in the area or as a halfway stops...

"I booked the house in March for Memorial Day Weekend. Our wedding was held in Dawson Springs. Our adult kids stayed in the home and were very complimentary of the comfort from the living room, to the game room, and the spacious bedrooms. The home was very clean and the snacks were much appreciated upon their arrival. The house was great the host were great! Highly recommend this home!!"
