"The staff were friendly. But from the time I walked in and was told that the first floor of the hotel flooded I knew there was going to be a problem. When I got my alternate room, I could see it hadn’t been used for some time. The carpet had yellowing-brown and red stains. The mirrors were dirty. In the bathroom there were no towels. "Friendly staff welcomed us and took care of us during our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and nicely furnished. Breakfast as simple and overlooked a pleasant courtyard. Greenville was more rundown than I expected, but we felt safe on our walks to the levee and to St. Joseph Catholic Church. A nice restaurant close by would have made it a perfect visit. "
