One note to female travelers: One of the neighbors has a drone and flew it over us while we were in the hot tub. This spooked me since we were staying in the middle of the woods. "The property is in a beautiful secluded setting near Forbes State Forest. Beware if GPS tries to take you in on Laurel Tunnel Road off of route 31, all dirt road and very confusing; instead take Short School Road off route 31. The cottage was cozy and the gas fireplace kept the place warm. The hot tub was nice. The toilet occassionally needed the plunger to flush out. "This cottage was the absolute perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. The property was spotless and so inviting. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of hiking. The deck off the creek house was excellent for morning tea. The indoor fireplace was also lovely. The host was so kind and communicated promptly and politely when we had questions. "My husband and I stayed in this home for 2 weeks. It was a perfect place for us. We cycled the GAP Trail in both directions, saw Frank Lloyd Wright homes, and a waterfall. Our host provided a comfortable, clean, well-equipped space that was maintained in impeccable condition. The view from the hilltop was amazing; we had a perfect view for comet-sighting. I liked it so much I don’t even have a suggestion for improvement!"

"Basic rental. Good location for visit to Falling Water. Neighbors dogs can be a little noisy. The house keeping staff somtimes forget to empty the outside trash cans and the wildlife can make something of a mess overnight. "
