"This was a shared guest house but everyone was very private. I never met another person although I heard people leaving. I would stay here again. The house and the view from the second floor was historically nice."

"The property is 3 levels with spiral staircases. 1) Downstairs "livingroom" area with sofas and TV. Washer/dryer also located there. We didn't spend much time in this room since there was no bathroom on that level 2) Second floor has the queen bed (comfy), kitchen and bathroom. This is where we spent 95% of our time. "My favorite place to stay in DC. The staff are always amazing. So friendly, professional and attentive. I did experience a few negatives this time. No room upgrade was offered and was supposed to be. I also had to ask about my Expedia VIP bar/restaurant credit. Slow on getting ice; wish I could get my own. One beside lamp didn’t work. But I will still be back! Can’t beat the high end service and location. "

"The stay was nice. Despite the fact it wasn’t in Georgetown, it was still accessible especially for people who don’t drive or can’t afford ride shares. The metro is within walking distance. I wasn’t aware of a deposit. And there’s no microwave. These are minor things but I enjoyed my stay overall "

1st time visiting

"It was a very clean hotel. Loved walking into the lobby and it smelled so good. They have a Starbucks which was a plus. The rooms were very clean, spacious and the staff were so nice and helpful. This hotel is close to airport, mall and so many food places to choose from. I would definitely stay here again, so welcoming! This was my 1st time visiting Washington. Great experience!"

"This hotel as great, the room though some may consider small was well designed, quiet, clean and comfortable. When I came into the room the TV screen displayed "Welcome S......". I really liked the I Pad that controled everything including daylight and blackout curtains, the wake up "alarm" that slowing lit up the room and played sounds, not a loud buzzing. The night light was a glowing glass enclosed bath that you could control the color. Very cool. The bed was very comfortable. Just a very efficiently designed space. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The hotel was close to the Smithsonian museums and Metro stations were near-by. The hotel has a highly touted sushi restaurant and there are a number of restaurants within walking distance. Also, the hotel's affordable price is an additional plus. I highly recommend this hotel."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, very cozy, the room was super spacious, the only bad thing was that we got one close to the train line that runs frequently but otherwise it was excellent, the parking was very cheap compared to other nearby ones, the National Mall was a 5 minute walk away."

Excellent Stay

"Our overall stay was excellent, the hotel was located centrally about 3 blocks from the White House and there are so many coffee shops and restaurants around. Our room was always so clean everyday and we loved the food at Via Sophia too. The hotel lobby was beautiful. Would stay again here in the future!"
