Peg was kind enough to point out a cluster of Indian Ghost Pipe, a fascinating plant growing in the wood just outside the tent. Lee gave a brief natural history of the site, advice on how best to see Acadia, and was quick to address any requests we had. Luxury Glamping Tent, deep in the woods and at the edge of the lake

"Chose glamping as a fun alternative to a hotel when in town for a concert. My daughter and her friends loved it (they are campers so en suite bathroom with screen did not bother them). Tent beds were so clean and comfy! We had rain, but cooked a big brunch in the outdoor kitchen. Hosts were wonderful and we had a great time! Would highly recommend!"

"This is a rustic, true off-grid stay. The property is absolutely stunning and the new owners clearly care about the camp itself and are working to to update and refresh it a bit. I did have a bit of trouble finding it and due to the lack of pics and directions when I booked, it just took a bit longer. I believe that has been updated. Garrett was great, super friendly and had great communication. Beautiful stay - I needed to get out into nature and I was able to do so. Absolutely would stay again...

Kitchen well furnished, comfy living room with smart TV, oodles of equipment for the lake (paddleboard, canoe, kayaks, fire pits and more) and thoughtful hospitality by the hosts. This camp is the perfect blend of old school and new school--charm and tech. It was just two of us and the size was perfect. Bonus that dogs are welcome! "We loved this place. VERY clean and fresh. Well stocked kitchen if you want to cook. Easy check-in. Very secluded location so we didn't get any unwanted traffic. One bed on the main floor wasn't big enough for two of us, but there was another full-sized bed upstairs (and several single beds). This was a great place for a couple or a small family. We would stay here again without a doubt."

"10/10 Understand that this is a quintessential rustic cabin in Northern Maine. If you understand that: you will thoroughly enjoy this cabin. A slice of Maine cultural history. The property manager has excellent communication and was so kind to mail my daughter’s clothing back to us! The property is everything you would ever want and need for an isolated cabin on a lake. I didn’t mind the 45 min drive to Acadia and back, as it showcases the diversity of Northern Maine (farms, lobsters/sea, forests). "
