"It was nice watching the people on the boardwalk and being close enough to the water. The only problem was that there was a shooting down from us on the boardwalk I think alot of drinking at the restaurants. I don’t think I would go out at night by myself. Overall a wonderful experience "

"It’s an older building with updates. Clean and updated. Rooms are large and had 2 TVs. One TV in bedroom area and second TV was in an area with a desk and a sofa. Checkin staff were great and offered suggestions. Parking garage is old but functional. "

"We had a great time at The Sand Castle! It’s an older building that is well maintained, the beds were comfortable, the AC was very cold, water pressure and temps great! The pool was small but adequate it was nice having onsite dining options we loved the nightly live music and the oysters were fantastic! Overall a great short trip! "

"This is my preferred hotel when visiting VA Beach. Although not used, I was given the hours of the pool only to walk by and the pool was closed. Not sure if the staff member that checked me in was aware. Nonetheless, the room did have some upgrades and was very clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I will be returning. "
